We ventured to the Fort Worth Zoo for the first time. We have heard a lot about it since moving here, they have some interesting breeding programs that have help endangered animals that other facilities have implemented across the country. It’s well laid out, people were friendly and we liked it.

Texas Motor Speedway
We live fairly close to the Speeday. Close enough that if the wind is right we can hear the cars on Race Day. I’ve never been to a race, but embracing all things Texas we decided to go. It was a blast. The crowd was the most polite and friendly of any event of this size I’ve ever attended.
Double check
I could not get my brain to mirror the image correctly in the reflection of the water. I was second guessing myself to death so I resorted to double checking by using a mirror. Everything was just as it should be, which was a total relief.
Easter
I am drawn to all things creative. Even cake & cookie decorating. I don’t bake often, usually just at Christmastime, but needed an excuse to use these Texas cookie cutters.
